Attack of the giant sushi!

Pictured here, a pair of sushi treats from the festival,
seen just before creating their quilt blocks.
PCC Rock Creek hosted their annual Harvest Festival last Saturday. Attendees were treated to an assortment of activities including card making, pumpkin decorating and Aztec dancing, along with many more. Popcorn and candy delighted the costumed guests, both young and young at heart. For the second year, Westside Quilters Guild Education Committee hosted a quilt education table featuring their make-a-quilt block quilt craft.
We had a lot of fun on Saturday, and we'll have other events coming along soon. Next up is the History of Quilting event at the Hillsboro Main Library November 30th 6:30 to 7:30. This is a great talk by our Education Committee, with lots of beautiful quilts from our members. Admission is free, so put us on your activity calendar.
