Roadtrip!

So way back in August of 2012, (you can see how long it takes me to download photos) we had a roadtrip to the Latimer Quilt and Textile Center in Tillamook. Several of us piled into cars and headed out for a day exploring. Helene Knott had an exhibit of her work there, and we were excited to see it. She has spoken to our guild before with a trunk show, and we are delighted that she will be coming again in February.

 We had a look at the exhibit, followed by a bed turning of several quilts from the Latimer collection. Anyone can arrange for a bed turning, but call in advance to set it up. They'll need to plan to have extra docents available at the appointed time.

We had a great day getting to know each other better, seeing Helene's fabulous quilts, and, of course, lunch!
