The grand opening of the show A Summer Wrapped in Quilts was Tuesday evening, June 3rd, at the Washington County Museum in downtown Hillsboro. This was part of the Art Walk and included the traveling exhibit The Sum of All Parts.
The next Art Reception night is Tuesday, July1st. The event is from 5-8 pm and features free admission and refreshments. While A Sum of Many Parts has moved on to its next location, it has been replaced by a show of area featured quilters.
Many of our members are participating with their quilts in this show. In addition, Timeless Treasures is also on display, consisting of quilts from the museum collection paired with contemporary quilts chosen for their related content.
