Documentation Day at the Museum a Success

On Saturday we held a documentation day at Washington County Museum with The Oregon Quilt Project. Everything went smoothly, and I overheard one of the women who regularly participates say that it was the most relaxed event she had attended. Thanks to all of our members who volunteered their time on a beautiful day to spend it indoors on this project.
We saw many quilts from the 1800s, along with newer quilts as well.  Twenty-four quilts were scheduled, but about twenty-eight were documented. The museum hopes to schedule another session later in the summer.
The doc group would like to schedule a group training day for all three Washington County guilds so that we can begin our own documentation events. We'll announce it when this has been arranged.
